You’re drinking soft drink all wrong

An innovative creator has exposed a brand new way to open a soft drink can.

American TikTok creator Jordan Howlett demonstrated the hack to his more than 10 million followers.

The 26-year-old from California showed how to open a soft drink can simply by using another soft drink can.

“So if you guys were to take a look at the bottom of a soda can, you see that it has this extra little circular ridge here,” he said in the video, which has now has 1.2 million likes.

“Obviously you need soda cans to have circular bottoms, because it keeps the carbonation and pressure how it is and it is what makes it taste so good.

“However, when soda cans we created in 1958, they didn’t look like this. You wanna know why?

“Because these sodas are multipurpose. Meaning that you can stack one on top of the other, and use it to open the other soda.”

Jordan proceeds to put one Sprite can on top of the other, and uses it to crack open the second can.

'Genius' soft drink hack goes viral

“It’s not a coincidence why they all stack so perfectly on top of each other,” he said.

“You can use a soda to open another soda.

“Meaning if you just got your nails done and you don’t want to mess them up, or it hurts your fingers to try and open them by themselves, just take a soda, put it on top, and open it with another soda.

“Try it out!”

His video went viral, gaining more than nine million views.

Jordan’s followers were left mindblown by the incredible revelation.

“My jaw is on the floor, sir,” one wrote.

“Yeah I’m trying this later at work,” another shared.

“I’m a flight attendant and hurt my fingers or chip my nails constantly cause of this.”

“I will be trying this immediately,” one fan wrote.

“The way my jaw dropped,” another said.

“I’ve tested this. Multiple times … and now I have 12 opened cans of soda,” a third confessed.

While a fourth commented, “Saves my nails every time!”
