The Eastern Conference Final resumes Tuesday night with Game 4 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Rangers.
Back in Game 3 on Sunday afternoon, Tampa came from behind to win 3-2 cutting New York’s series lead in half. And so, it goes without saying, but tonight’s a big one. With Colorado awaiting the winner, the series will either be 3-1 Rangers or all square at 2 heading back to Madison Square Garden for Game 5.
With all that in mind, here are some prop bets to consider:
PROP #1: Andrei Vasilevskiy Over 27.5 Saves (-130)
If history tells us anything about the Big Cat, it’s that he gets better and better as a series goes on. And through three games, we’ve yet to get that signature Vasilevskiy playoff performance. Simply put, there’s a reason why this guy is routinely compared to Mariano Rivera, arguably the best MLB closer of all-time. For what it’s worth, Vasilevskiy has averaged 29 saves per game so far in the series.
PROP #2: Igor Shesterkin Over 32.5 Saves (-120)
Not to be outdone, Shesterkin has come as advertised so far in the series. The 26-year-old is coming off a 49-save masterpiece in Game 3 and has already made 115 total saves through three games. That’s an average of 38 per game. Needless to say, the Lightning need to keep shooting the puck.
PROP #3: Victor Hedman Over 2.5 SOG (-150)
Considering those jaw-dropping numbers, any Tampa shot prop is worth looking at right now, especially the Hedman one. The 31-year-old tallied five shots on goal in Game 3 and has cleared the 2.5 number in four of his past five outings.
PROP #4: Mika Zibanejad Over 2.5 SOG (-150)
Through three contests, Zibanejad leads all skaters in the series with a total of 14 shots on goal. Suffice it to say, the 29-year-old’s feeling it right now and the eight-game point streak would certainly back that assessment up as well. Ride the hot hand.
